I have found my passion in coming alongside clients in their journey towards understanding themselves and creating stronger and more powerful relationships. I fully believe that change comes from perseverance, empowerment, and the strength of the family system or the individual. I believe strongly in the power of advocacy and assisting clients find their best selves, and enjoy creating fully comprehensive treatment that will aim to improve many facets of life.
My strengths as a clinician lie in creating an empathetic environment, advocating for all therapeutic needs of the client, and maintaining sensitivity to the role that trauma can play on development and interaction.
I enjoy working with families and clients struggling with the impact of trauma, parents needing guidance, children with behavioral and emotional disruptions, and individuals searching for a voice.

Living life to the fullest is sometimes easier said than done. I believe people are innately good and wish to do their very best. Sometimes we get to places where doing our best, or living our best lives, is the most difficult thing we can face. My goal, as a clinical counselor, is to help people see their potential and help them identify ways to reach that potential. I specialize in an array of client issues but find my expertise to be working with those who have experienced trauma in all ages and stages of life.
At Prevail Counseling and Associates, we have over 9+ years of experience working with children, families and individuals looking for peace in their lives. We want this peace for all. Our therapist believe with a little work, and guidance, this peace and calm is right within reach.

“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead, and some come from behind. But I’ve brought a big bat. I’m all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me.” - Dr. Seuss
Life is complicated, messy, and oftentimes difficult. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. Therapy works to facilitate the process of discovering who you are, and who you want to become. Seeking therapy can be scary, uncertain, and daunting. But it doesn’t have to be. My experience and education allow me the skill set to guide you along this journey with empathy, understanding, and unconditional positive regard.
I have worked in the human services field for over fifteen years, focusing on advanced relaxation techniques, substance abuse, trauma recovery, and cultural oppression. Despite working in a variety of settings with diverse populations, each client has an individual story. My goal is to develop that story into one that you are happy, confident, and comfortable to share.
