My goal is to always search for the golden thread that weaves together an individual's thoughts and behaviors so that we may better understand the internal self.
My strengths as a clinician lie in creating an empathetic environment, advocating for all therapeutic needs of the client, and maintaining sensitivity to the role that trauma can play on development and interaction. Living life to the fullest is sometimes easier said than done. I believe people are innately good and wish to do their very best. Sometimes we get to places where doing our best, or living our best lives, is the most difficult thing we can face. My goal, as a clinical counselor, is to help people see their potential and help them identify ways to reach that potential. I specialize in an array of client issues but find my expertise to be working with those who have experienced trauma in all ages and stages of life.

With my assistance we will begin therapy that is focused on you and follows your pace. I enjoy meeting and helping a range of clientele, the only requirement is a willingness to work on yourself! I developed a passion for working with clients focusing on women's issues especially perinatal anxiety and depression after having children. I also have a passion for working with clients working on processing their grief relating to loss. Many clients suffer from anxiety and depression, and I work to encourage you to focus on your overall well-being by learning usable coping skills including meditation, mindfulness, grounding techniques along with increasing their time outdoors and body movement!
My approach to counseling is holistic and client centered. I follow your pace to mental health wellness. I assist in guiding you down your path as this is your journey. I utilize CBT and Motivational Interviewing skills and cater my skills to meet each client’s individual needs.
In a world filled with labels and titles, we are all simply human first. Being human means we are all bound to get it wrong sometimes no matter how much we have (or don’t have) figured out. Life is hard, and it’s natural that challenges sometimes cloud the way we see ourselves and the world; however, I believe worthiness is our birthright, and it is my goal as a clinician to help my clients see that their worthiness has no prerequisite and isn’t something to be earned.
As an EMDR trained therapist and registered yoga teacher, I am knowledgable about the ways stress and trauma impact the body and mind. My eclectic and somatic approach integrates mind-body healing into the therapeutic process and allows me to meet you exactly where you are with openness, compassion, and curiosity.

I pride myself in providing a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space for clients of all identities and backgrounds and particularly strive to cultivate a supportive space for those who don't fit neatly in descriptive boxes and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I love working with clients in their 20s and 30s, trying to find where they fit and how to move within a sometimes limiting and constraining world, as well as individuals, couples, and folks who participate in relationships with multiple partners.
